Lilianna Preciado began working at the SFPUC in 2012 as an apprentice and quickly worked up the ranks to become Lead Plumber in 2016. As one of only two female plumbers working for the City, Lily paved the way for other women looking to enter the industry. This video is dedicated to Lily's daughter and family.

After a heavy rain storm in March 2018, this team worked around the clock to recover and re-establish water deliveries; protecting the Hetch Hetchy Water System and the 2.7 million customers in the Bay Area who rely on the SFPUC’s water services every day. Their work is being recognized for the Reliable Service and Assets award.
