Lake Merced Transport (LMT): captures and controls sewage and stormwater runoff from the extreme Southwestern portion of the City. June 2020. Flows are directed via gravity from the discharge structure on John Muir Drive, and proceeds along Skyline Boulevard and the Great Highway to the transition structure near Sloat Boulevard, where it discharges into the Westside transport east box, and is then pumped to the Oceanside treatment plant. June 2020. The Lake Merced Transport System replaced the Lake Merced Pump Station, which is located next to the LMT and is abandoned in place. June 2020.
