You may or may not be surprised to know that there are parts of San Francisco that experience flooding during the winter heavy rains.

While San Francisco had a dry winter, we also know Mother Nature is unpredictable. The summertime is the best time to flood-proof your property. The SFPUC offers a Floodwater Grant for property owners that experience flooding on their properties, reimbursing those eligible up to $100,000 to make property upgrades to minimize flood damage.
