It wouldn’t be the holidays without lots of bright twinkling lights blanketing the city. Thanks to Hetch Hetchy Power and CleanPowerSF, the SFPUC is powering many of your favorite holiday light displays across San Francisco with clean energy. As you celebrate the holidays with friends and family, be sure to check out a few of our favorite displays (safely and wearing your mask, of course). And share with us your favorite displays, too!

San Francisco homes know how to put on a holiday display! Take a stroll through your neighborhood, or explore a new one, and see how our community decks the halls.
Moscone Center Pedestrian Bridge
Twinkling above Howard street is Point Cloud, an art installation of over 28,000 LED lightbulbs. The pedestrian bridge connecting two sides of the Moscone Center, which is powered by Hetch Hetchy Power, and is best seen from the corner of Howard and 3rd Streets in the evening.

Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf
Down at Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf, experience the wonder of a 60-foot-tall Christmas tree, Hanukkah menorah light display, and holiday lights adorning the world-famous Fisherman’s Wharf sign. If you are lucky, you might spy a sea lion too!
If you check out some of these light displays, don’t forget your mask, a bottle of Hetch Hetchy tap water, and your favorite ugly holiday sweater to keep you warm! We wish you and yours a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season.
